Dear Readers,
Welcome to our very first online Exordium! I am very pleased to bring you this collection of high quality, thought provoking and insightful essays written by my fellow philosophy students.
This issue features short and long form essays (and even a collection of aphorisms!) on laughter, libidinal economy, metaphysics, existentialism, politics and economics. It also contains two interviews that I have conducted with philosophy postgraduates, as part of an ongoing series of interviews intended to provide some insight into where a degree in philosophy can take you.
Most of the pieces in this issue have been reviewed by UQ postgraduates, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank those reviewers.
I hope this will be the first of many issues to come.
